My Story
Our family has ADPKD - Adult Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease - a genetic disease disabling the kidneys by creating thousands of cysts throughout it. My daughter, Joyce Beaudry has undergone one transplant, and it failed. Her transplant only lasted 4 1/2 years. This is ABNORMAL. Most last around 10 -15 years or more (my sister's has lasted 30 years, mine has lasted 10 years and going strong! Other sister is at 15 years and brother is at 10!). She is in need of a second one to save her life. She does not have the 5-7 years of waiting time on dialysis to wait for a deceased donor kidney. We are searching for that ONE altruistic individual who is willing to try to match her with a living donation. Please share this with whomever you can so we can reach the largest audience. These pictures were when she was healthy. I'll add more later from now, when she is sick. Thank you so much!!
Here is where to go to become a living donor: When it asks for a name, type in: Joyce Beaudry Make a referral
I’d love to hear from you! Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or comments and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
